Ugh, it can be so hard to eat healthy when you’re going out to eat. No one wants to order a bland grilled chicken breast and steamed broccoli while everyone else indulges. I have good news (if you’re in Austin, anyway)! This list, provided by Austin Eater, provides a guide on eating healthier in Austin, Texas when eating out. I’ve only eaten at two of these — Mother’s Cafe and Garden and Casa de Luz — so I have some work to do!

Seriously, though — Eastside Cafe has grilled rosemary-skewered pork tenderloin. Blue Dahlia has a black bean salad w/avocados, tomatoes, cilantro, lime, mango, corn and bell pepper. And Royer’s Pie Heaven has vegan cherry and peach pies!
