1 lb. tilapia
2 tbsp. flaxseed meal
1 egg white
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. vegetable oil
Pulse the fish in a food processor until just chopped.
Combine the fish with the flaxseed meal, egg, egg white, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, basil, and onion powder.
Form into patties. If needed place the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes before forming patties. It will help them stay together.
Brush burgers with vegetable oil.
Cook in a medium hot skillet for about 4 minutes per side.
Serve with avocado and your favorite burger toppings.
