It’s so hard to consistently cook healthy meals for a busy family. My daughters have many after-school activities. My husband often eats later than the rest of us after he gets home from work. I felt like I was failing at the dinner game!
I saw an article online about preparing and freezing paleo crockpot meals and decided to give it a try! I got most of my recipes from JamKatsPaleo.
I started with my fresh and canned veggies….
And my meats….
And my spices and other liquids….
It took me about 2 hours to assemble six meals. Not bad! I jokingly call myself the realistic chef. I’m not out to try to make myself look perfect. One of my ziplock bags busted open when I was mixing all the ingredients at the end. My kids were running in and out of the kitchen, yelling at each other. And, clearly, I’m no food photographer. Just a real mom trying to make healthier meals!
And… here’s the finished product!
We haven’t tried any yet – first one tonight! It will be the Greek lemon chicken wings.
