I need to tell you about a REALLY useful gift I got for Christmas. So, I have a standard George Foreman grill but it was rarely used because the clean-up is such a pain. My husband got me the Cuisinart Griddler and Waffle Maker with Removable Plates. It’s very possible he got me this because he is the one who always had to clean the George Foreman.

The Cuisinart is really nice for a few reasons, but most obviously, the removable plates. They just pop right out and are dishwasher-safe. Also, it has several different plates to choose from: grilling plates, flat griddle plates and waffle plates. The Cuisinart can be used with the top lid pressing down on the food or you can open it up completely flat to cook on both sides. If you open it up, you could even do the grill on one side and the griddle on the other. So many options!

So far, I’ve used it to make super simple paleo waffles (just added a bit more coconut flour to this recipe), panini sandwiches and breakfast sausage this morning.

I think this product is really helpful if you’re trying to eat paleo because it’s so simple to quickly grill any meat or vegetables (without braving the elements on the outside grill).
